13 Chart Types

Choose from bar, dot, horizontal bar, line, pie, donut, scatter (xy), area, histogram, error bar, bubble, Gantt and volume chart types.

The bar, horizontal bar, line and area chart types can be stacked when more than one data set is involved.

Intuitive Interface

Chartz automatically supplies random data so that you can see from the beginning what your chart will look like. At any point you can open the Data Entry editor and replace the random data with data of your own. Most chart types can display up to six data sets (four for pie/donut, and one for histogram and volume chart types).

The chart aspect ratio (width to height ratio) is easily changed by dragging arrows located at the top-right and bottom-left of the chart. The actual size of the finished chart is determined once the chart is Exported. In the Image Export window, the chart can be resized to any dimensions, and one of four levels of smoothing can be optionally applied (most useful for charts with curved or diagonal lines).

Complete Color Control

Any chart element can be set to any color. But Chartz also includes 14 Theme color palettes, each of which has 14 harmonious colors. These palettes can be switched rapidly.Additionally a "Mix" button randomly selects colors for the chart data from the current Theme palette.

Make Beautiful Charts

With Chartz you have complete control over your chart look, wheher you choose a simple style for maximum information transfer, or a more complex style for aesthetic appeal. A single click turns on color transparency, gradients and 3D orientation. The chart background can be colored, have a gradient, and even an imported image. In fact a chart can be exported to an image file, and then that image can serve as the background for a new chart.
